Cross Keys Homes is a key player in the provision of social housing in Peterborough. We were established in October 2004 to take ownership of approximately 10,500 properties from Peterborough City Council. Since we came into existence we have made a significant positive impact on the lives of people who live in our homes by successfully delivering a multi million pound improvement programme and many other promises made to residents at transfer. These have included the replacement of kitchens, bathrooms and central heating systems, creating opportunities for tenant engagement and in tackling anti social behaviour.
We believe we have a strong and important role, not only as a landlord, but also in assisting local communities to improve their economic and social situation and to this end are also involved in many partnerships and local regeneration initiatives.
Cross Keys Homes has already created opportunities to expand and grow the number of homes and services we provide. In 2007 we started our new build development programme and have now built nearly 500 homes. Cross Keys Homes is a charitable housing association registered with Companies house as a company limited by guarantee. The board has 12 non-executive members 5 of whom are independent members, 5 residents and 2 Council nominees. We formed CKH Developments, a non charitable subsidiary, to undertake future growth opportunities such as private housing for sale. Cross Keys has built a strong reputation in customer satisfaction, tenant engagement, and high performance. We have won several national and local awards. We are in a financially sound position going into what is going to be a very difficult period for organizations working in or with the public sector. The selection process will be as follows:Further information about the role and the organisation is available on the lefthand menu options.
