About us
Cross Keys Homes is a key community player which is committed to delivering excellent and customer-focused services 100 per cent of the time.
The organisation likes to be considered as more than just a landlord providing a range of services including advice on matters such as debt and welfare, employment, skills and training programmes.
In addition to providing landlord services to tenants, the organisation also leases 72 city shops and provides a community alarm service known as Lifeline to vulnerable people, which is available nationwide.
Recently the organisation was allocated nearly £4m by the Homes and Communities agency which together with its existing on site projects will create 700 new homes by 2015. The organisation is now the only housing association based in Peterborough with grant to do this.
Cross Keys Homes is the city’s largest housing association following the transfer of the city council’s 10,000-strong housing stock over seven years ago and is a not-for-profit charitable housing association which employs an executive team and 250-plus staff to manage the day-to-day running of the business.
