Eye Satellites
Eye Satellites cover two main areas in the village of Eye, close to Peterborough. Tintern Rise, made up of 28 two-bedroomed bungalows is at the lower end of the village. Boxgrove Close, The Crescent and Back Lane, totalling 33 one and two bedroomed bungalows is situated in the older part of the village.
The community room, which is shared with Axiom residents, is located in Woad Court, at the end of the Crescent. A very active, resident led, social club organises many social events and the facilities are also used by external groups.
Residents can make use of the laundry room with washing machine/dryer plus a small communal kitchen attached to a large community lounge.
Eye village is well supported with shops, post office, doctors and dentist within walking distance of both areas. A frequent bus service to the City is available from several points along the High Street.
All properties have access to a 24 hour emergency alarm system and are supported during the week by a scheme manager.
