Scotendon
Scotendon was built by the development corporation in 1986 and consists of 19 one bedroomed bungalows, and six two bedrooms bungalows. Each is self contained and has a rear garden. There is a 24-hour emergency call system and a Monday to Friday scheme manager.
The scheme has a community centre which provides laundry facilities, a kitchen, a lounge for residents to use, and an office where the scheme manager is available throughout the day.
Scotendon is close to the Orton Centre which is a short walk away and bus routes into the city. There is a doctors surgery and dentist in the centre.
The scheme is quiet, well located and nicely kept.
