

Cross Keys Homes welcomes new board chair designate

Angus Kennedy has been appointed to the Cross Keys Homes board as chair designate to take over from Cyril Brown when he stands down as chair at Septembers AGM.
Angus was born and bred in Helpston, Peterborough and is a board member of Opportunity Peterborough, the organisation that is charged with growing the city. Now based in Birmingham Angus has over 30 years experience operating as a qualified housing and town planning professional within the public and private sectors. He has a broad range of skills in project management, change management and leadership. Since 2005 Angus has run his own consultancy, Community Regeneration Partnership which shares his many years of regeneration experience in Birmingham with communities, Local Authorities and other agencies across the UK. He also serves on the board of three West Midland NHS LIFT programme boards. Angus said: “Cross Keys Homes is passionate about the communities it serves and I also have the same beliefs and values. “I am looking forward to bringing my ideas to the board and helping Cross Keys Homes to deliver great results and drive it forward with my fellow board members and staff.” Chief executive, Mick Leggett, said: “I am delighted to welcome Angus onto the board and I know that he will make a positive contribution given his experience, dynamism and knowledge.” Cross Keys Homes’ board is responsible for making policy, monitoring progress and developing new ideas for the future. It is made up of six residents, four councillors and five independent business members skilled in areas such as finance, housing and development.
