Andy Orrey (Chair)
Andy has been in the housing sector for nine years, and has spent the last seven years as CEO of Ongo. During his time at Ongo, the company has been transformed into a top performing association in terms of customer satisfaction. The organisation has recently branched out into commercial ventures and now employs almost 50 staff who support the local community. Andy was previously a Finance Director at Bombardier Transportation UK, a train manufacturing company, and held various other internationally based financial director roles. Andy's particular interests are in developing a learning culture within organisations, cutting out waste, creating staff engagement and happy customers. In his spare time he enjoys cycling, playing golf and watching rugby.
He is also a board member for North Lindsey College, Leeds and Yorkshire Housing Association and the Greater Lincolnshire Local Enterprise Partnership.
Andy sees his primary role as maintaining the strength of Cross Keys Homes, ensuring that each generation of board members leaves the organisation in a better place and that there will always be a high quality social housing stock in Peterborough and beyond for people who need it.
