We are seeking to recruit two Independent Board Members
Salary: £5,500 p.a. plus reasonable expenses.
We are a multi-award winning provider of housing, care and related services with an ambitious and innovative development programme.
Following conversion to a Community Benefit Society, and to support our ambitious growth, we are looking to recruit two new Board members who will bring strategic steer, commitment and enthusiasm to our multi-million pound business.
Key Strategic Skills Requirements
We are seeking two Board members to work with, and bring development knowledge to, our current experienced Board and highly skilled executives, with particular knowledge and expertise, ideally within a property or wider asset-led organisation, in any of the following:
Housing or commercial development or development consultancy
Property, construction and infrastructure delivery
Experience in the housing sector is desirable, however, we welcome applicants with relevant experience and/or qualifications gained outside the sector. We are looking for candidates with strong communication and negotiation skills and the ability to inspire and engage.
The minimum requirement will be 1-2 days per month to attend meetings in Peterborough, with approximately a further 1-2 days of meeting preparation per month.
There would also be commitment to CPD through conferences, training and workshops.
