We’ve designed a range of care and support options for people who want stay independent, but want support on hand if they need it.
Cross Keys Care offers help with things like personal care, domestic tasks around the home, shopping, cooking and help with medication. We can provide this support anyone living in the PE1 to PE4 postcode areas of Peterborough regardless of whether you live in one of our homes or not.
If you’re thinking of moving to a more secure setting, then take a look at what our two extra care schemes have to offer. Kingfisher Court in Stanground is a newly-built development with 79 apartments, specially designed for the over 55s. It has a beauty and hair salon, fitness suite and an award-winning restaurant. And support is available 24-hours a day.
On the other side of the city you’ll find Lapwing Apartments, which was completed in September 2017. Here, there are 54 one and two-bedroom apartments plus a restaurant, orangery, library and wildflower garden – all backed up with round-the-clock care.
Or, if it’s sheltered housing you’re looking for, we’ve got 27 schemes for you to choose from. Here, you’ll have your own self-contained flat or bungalow with a scheme manager on-site during office hours. But help is available 24 hours a day through our LifeLine personal alarm service – which can be fitted in all of our sheltered and extra care properties.
If you’re not as mobile as you used to be, or you’ve just come home from hospital, our range of Telecare products might give you added peace of mind. These handy gadgets can help you feel safer in your home. There are smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, a key safe, a bogus caller button and a flood detector, to name a few.
Our care and support service is run by professionally trained staff, who genuinely care about the people they’re helping. There are always opportunities for new recruits to join our team. So if you think you could be a care worker, get in touch with us. To find out what the job is like, read Angelina’s story.
We are celebrating having been shortlisted in not one but eleven categories of the Eastern Region Great British Care Awards!
