The Housing Ombudsman offers a free, impartial service to people who live in rented homes and need some help to deal with a complaint about their landlord. They will step in to support a resident who does not believe their complaint is being handled correctly or is having trouble making a complaint. We always want to make it as easy as possible for you to share your feedback with us, so we follow advice from the Ombudsman about how to write a clear complaints policy and make sure your feedback is handled fairly.
Meet the Ombudsman
If you’d like to know more about the role of the Ombudsman and the work they are doing to understand more about how housing associations across the country can keep improving their services, head online to meet the Housing Ombudsman! The virtual session will be taking place on Wednesday 24 November, 11am to 12pm. To register for a place, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
The event will be hosted by CHP, another housing assocation supporting people in the East of England. All residents are welcome to attend and you will have the chance to ask questions in advance. The Ombudsman will not be able to respond to specific cases, this session is designed to help you learn more about the service generally.
