The Recruit Job Show is going virtual to support the Peterborough's job seekers and businesses through this difficult time.
With a physical job show impossible at the moment, Tackling Worklessness in Peterborough (TWIP) has moved its Recruit Job Show online to showcase local job vacancies, along with the support and training available to those looking for work.
Starting on Tuesday 30 June, and accessible throughout July, job seekers will be able to find information on companies who are actively recruiting on the TWIP website and brand new YouTube channel. Employers will also be featured on the Jobcentreplus’ social media channels.
Plus there will be videos and information on all the support organisations in the city who can help with everything from writing a CV to learning new skills and volunteering opportunities.
The event will include vacancies across a wide range of employment sectors. Companies taking part include AM Fresh, PMP, IT Naturally and Cross Keys Care.
The event is being sponsored by the Department for Work and Pensions and Cross Keys Homes, and is hoping to help many people find work or training opportunities. Everyone is welcome, from school leavers to those looking to change career direction, and from trainees and apprentices through to those with a wealth of experience and skills.
