Cross Keys Homes, Peterborough’s largest social landlord, is celebrating the New Year with news that it has been placed in the Sunday Times Top 100 Best Not for Profit Places to Work for the fifth consecutive year. The organisation has this year been awarded a two star accreditation for the first time, and will find out its ranking in the Top 100 in February.

The accreditation rates the organisation on its levels of employee engagement, and is based on the results of a survey of employees carried out during November 2014. It identifies workplace performance and best practice according to a number of key factors, including how good the leadership is, how good the company is as a whole, and the level of opportunities for staff personal development.

Claire Higgins, Chief Executive of Cross Keys Homes, said: “To once again be placed in the Sunday Times Top 100 is a great achievement, and we are especially proud of the two star ranking which we have achieved for the first time this year. As this assessment is based on surveys conducted with our staff, we know it is a true reflection of how they feel about working for us.”

Chair of Cross Keys Homes, Dr Angus Kennedy, added:  “These achievements are a real testament to the staff at Cross Keys Homes who contribute so much to making the organisation such a great place to work, especially because of their positive attitudes and shared values.  We can see how this comes through in the service we provide for our tenants and customers.”
