We are delighted to announce that we have retained the highest possible rating from the Regulator of Social Housing, who have confirmed we retains our rating of V1 for viability and G1 for governance.
G1 means we meet the requirements on governance set out in the Governance and Financial Viability standard.
V1 means we meet the requirements on viability set out in the Governance and Financial Viability standard and we have the capacity to mitigate our exposures effectively.
The news comes as a welcome conclusion to one of our most successful years ever which has seen us build 322 homes across Peterborough and the surrounding area, and open our brand new Customer Central shop in Bridge Street in Peterborough. We are also building more homes in four exciting joint ventures, which enables us to share risk and reward and make our funding work very hard to build as many homes as possible in the most efficient way.
We continue to support the most vulnerable and to build communities that help make a positive difference to local people. Our latest exciting news is the opening of a brand new Health and Wellbeing Hub in Welland where people will be able to access range of services, including healthy lifestyle and nutritional advice along with mental health services.
Claire Higgins, our Chief Executive, said: “This is excellent news, especially in such challenging times. It is a real testament to the hard work of our Board, committees and employees, and highlights the ways in which we are getting it right for our customers. It also gives our investors and stakeholders the confidence in our business approach to risk to continue to work with us to change even more lives and communities for the better in the future.”
