Home in time for Christmas in Burton Latimer

New residents in Burton Latimer are preparing to spend their first Christmas in their new homes.

A further phase at Buckby Grange, the Cross Keys Homes’ (CKH) development at Higham Road is now complete, with 13 one, two and three bedroom homes providing the perfect setting for a Christmas at home. Available for shared ownership and affordable rent, the development provides quality, affordable options in a great location where people can often struggle to find suitable homes.

Chief Executive of Cross Keys Homes, Claire Higgins, said: “When we build homes, we build them with people in mind, because the right homes can change lives. This year, there are 13 households in Burton Latimer who will get to spend their first Christmas in brand new homes – with more ready for a new start in the New Year.”

“These new homes at Buckby Grange form part of our wider development ambition to deliver hundreds quality, affordable homes across the region for the communities that need them most and we’re actively seeking new opportunities to build in Kettering and East Northamptonshire.”

Councillor Mark Rowley, Portfolio Holder for Housing, at Kettering Borough Council, said: “Kettering Borough Council is delighted to have worked in partnership to deliver these new homes at Buckby Grange. We are continuing to explore new development opportunities with Cross Keys so that we can continue to meet the high demand for affordable homes across our Borough.”

A further eight homes at Bucky Grange will be ready to welcome residents in January and 12 homes are currently available for sale off-plan with completion planned for early Spring.

Across the region, CKH has helped 136 families find a new home just in time for Christmas. The new homes for affordable rent and shared ownership have been completed on sites throughout the East of England since November.

The leading housing association, who won the UK Housing Award for Development Programme of the Year 2018, is set to deliver over 500 homes a year to help boost the supply of affordable homes in Peterborough, Huntingdonshire, Cambridgeshire, Bedford, Milton Keynes and the surrounding areas.
