We are teaming up with Solutions4Health to run a Free Wellness Clinic at the South Bretton Family and Community Centre in Tyesdale.

The Clinic will enable people to receive six sessions of support and advice on changing diet, increasing physical activity, help to reduce alcohol consumption, or stopping smoking and support to achieve a healthy weight. At the end of their course, participants will then be referred onto further support services, as required.

Our Service Manager - Customer, Community and Stakeholder Engagement, Kate Newbolt, said: “We are thrilled to be partnering with Solutions4Health to provide this service out in the community. We are passionate about improving the health and well-being of residents in our communities and by working in partnership with leading organisations in their field we are able to get that support out to people, at a convenient location.

“This Wellness Clinic will give people the intensive one-to-one support they need to kick start a new healthy lifestyle, and comes at a perfect time of the year, as people’s thoughts turn to New Year’s resolutions.”

The clinic starts on 4 December and will run on alternate Tuesdays throughout December and January.
