The Christmas spirit shines through at CKH!

Barry and Abbie our Estate Rangers, dressed as Mother and Father Christmas

We want to end the year by saying a huge thank you to everyone who has helped us to put a smile on the faces of the homeless people living in our short stay accommodation this Christmas.

Barry and Abbie our Estate Rangers, dressed as Mother and Father Christmas Our Communities team wanted to supply food parcels to our hostel residents, and thanks to the generosity of Travis Perkins and Amazon we have been able to supply some lovely treats.  The parcels were delivered this week by our Estate Rangers, who were joined by Father and Mother Christmas (who bear a striking resemblance toour Estate Rangers Barry and Abbie!!). Thanks also to our volunteers who packed the boxes.

Father Christmas was kept busy, and he was back later in the week, this time with his elves, and the lovely people from our repairs contractors, Mears spreading Christmas joy, presents and lots of chocolate. Some of our lovely residents from Lapwing Apartments helped with the present wrapping, too.

Father Christmas and the elves from Mears We also need to say huge thanks to everyone who donated items to the Facebook appeal: Christmas Shoebox Appeal for Peterborough homeless who donated 80 absolutely wonderful boxes packed with goodies for all the grown ups.

If we have missed anyone - we're sorry! But we have been absolutely overwhelmed by the generosity of the people and companies of Peterborough. Thank you!
