Vote for funding for the Westwood Community Garden

Pupils from a local school planting at the WestRaven Big Local Community Garden

News story published on 29 October 2018

Your vote can help the WestRaven Big Local Community Garden in Westwood to get funding from the Aviva Community Fund to help to improve accessibility for people with mobility issues.

The garden is a great space for community groups and individuals to enjoy the great outdoors and getting closer to nature, but as with many outdoor spaces, accessibility for people in wheelchairs and restricted mobility is a challenge. This funding would enable the Garden to become fully accessible and truly open to the whole community.

It's really easy to vote - just follow this link to the Aviva Community Fund website and register with your email address (you can opt out of all future communications, so you won't be bombarded by emails!) You then get ten votes to cast. You can either give all ten votes to WestRaven Big Local or spread them across other projects.

So, don't delay - vote today!
