Village houses snapped up

Cross Keys Homes’ affordable housing in the beautiful village of Castor are now all taken.

Cross Keys Homes owns nine of the 25 homes at Clay Lane, Castor, an executive development by Linden Homes.  Six of the properties have been allocated to rented housing and the other three to shared ownership.

120 Empty Houses Back in Use

Cross Keys Homes, Peterborough City Council and Huntingdonshire District Council were successful in their bid for Government funding to bring 120 empty homes back into use in Peterborough and Huntingdonshire.

They were successful in getting over £1 million of the £100 million available through the Homes and Communities Agency scheme – the 18th biggest grant in the country.

Cross Keys Homes in Sunday Times top 100 best places to work

Cross Keys Homes has just been ranked in the Sunday Times 100 Best Companies Not-for-Profit list, for another year.

Peterborough’s largest landlord has also been ranked 11thin the Sunday Times’ Giving Something Back category.  It cares about the environment (ranking 6th), contributes to the community (ranking 7th) and encourages charitable activities.

Opening of Herlington Community Studio

A new community studio funded jointly by Cross Keys Homes and Mears will be opened on Saturday 10 March in the Herlington Centre.  Local radio station, Radio Peterborough will be based at the unit. Also, arts and music workshops for all ages will run on a regular basis delivered by local community interest companies, Blok Collective and Beat This.
