Learn Wood Skills for Wildlife
If you are aged between 17 and 24, and not currently in education, employment or training, join our Wood Skills for Wildlife course to learn basic carpentry and conservation skills, and also help to save the bees!
These sessions will develop your confidence, team skills and problem solving, as well as teach you about habitat creation and conservation. You'll help to design and create a massive sculptural bee hotel and wildlife habitat for the WestRaven Community Garden.
You'll also learn how to identify bees, butterflies and other pollinators, identify various plants and learn the basics of conservation, creating habitats and a space for nature. This will be a large piece of work that will stay in the garden for years to come, and will look great on your CV!
You will need to attend four sessions from the six dates below to complete the course. To find out more and sign up, complete the enquiry form below and we’ll be in touch.
