We are celebrating recognition in the Investors in the Environment (iiE) Awards, as the runners up in the Overall Achievers category. We were also shortlisted in the Social Impact category.

We have been accredited to the Investors in the Environment scheme since 2011, achieving its highest level Green Award accreditation for the first time in 2015, and retaining it ever since. We have an environmental commitment at our core and have achieved a year on year reduction in our carbon footprint.

The awards saw tough competition from a wide range of companies, all accredited by iiE’s stringent criteria. We were praised for our sector leading work in improving the energy efficiency of our homes, as well as our work in the community, supporting residents and improving neighbourhoods.

Our Chief Executive, Claire Higgins, said: “It is great to be recognised at such a high level by these awards. We are currently in a climate emergency and urgent action is needed. We are doing all we can to reduce the carbon footprint of our business and our homes. Which in turn has the benefit of reducing fuel costs for our residents. As a result of our passion for this area of work, we are also striving to ensure our communities are vibrant, supportive and green places that people want to live in.”
