We have been re-accredited for our resident engagement

We have demonstrated that we put residents firmly at the heart of our business by being awarded the Tpas Landlord Accreditation, for the third time.

Tpas are England's leading Tenant Engagement experts. They promote, support and champion tenant involvement and empowerment in social housing across England. They have awarded us their accreditation following an in-depth and rigorous assessment process. The assessment team found that we have well established arrangements in place for engaging residents and enabling influence throughout all sections of the business.

We re-launched our programme of resident engagement panels to coincide with our 20th anniversary, in October 2024. The new programme reflects the changing needs of both the company and our residents. Both the Chair and Vice-Chair of our Resident Experience Panel sit on the Group Board, to ensure residents' voices are heard at the very highest level. The other panels, such as our Communications and Equity Diversity and Inclusion Panel, Scrutiny Panel for Service Improvement, Complaints Panel and Community Champions support the business with reviewing our communications, taking a deep dive look into service areas and being the eyes and ears of the business in our neighbourhoods. They offer recommendations for service improvement based on the findings of their scrutiny and monitoring of patterns of complaints.

Chief Executive of CKH, Claire Higgins, said: “This recognition is fantastic news for both residents and employees.  Getting residents involved in the running of our business is key to delivering the right services in the right way. It ensures we provide the highest possible standard of customer service and achieve great value for money by providing the services that our residents want. Strong resident engagement has also supported us in securing our C1 rating from the Regulator of Social Housing. I am very proud that we have achieved national recognition from an organisation as highly respected as Tpas.”

Chief Executive of Tpas, Jenny Osbourne, said: “We are delighted that Cross Keys Homes has successfully achieved accreditation with Tpas again. By completing the meticulous process to retain their accredited housing organisation status, CKH have demonstrated their continuing commitment to the values we share. Tpas believe that involving residents in all aspects of service delivery in the housing sector is not only the right thing to do but also makes great business sense. We look forward to sharing the stories of how CKH have used the accreditation process to achieve success by working together with residents.”
