A commercial business with a social heart, our vision is to create opportunities that change lives through our drive, expertise, resources and passion. And you can see our values of action, commitment, excellence, integrity and teamwork in everything we do.
Our dynamic approach has made us one of the region’s leading providers of affordable homes for rent and sale. Responding to change with agility and innovation, we’ll continue to grow our business in today’s fast-paced operating environment.
With a development programme set to deliver more than 2,500 homes over the next five years, we’re committed to building quality, affordable homes that people want to live in throughout the east of England. That’s an approach that secured us the title of Development Programme of the Year at the 2018 UK Housing Awards.
Of course, as a proud provider of affordable homes we’re also committed to providing excellent housing and landlord services to all of our customers in our existing homes. We offer a wide range of community support services, ranging from volunteering opportunities to regular work clubs, and actively encourage our residents to have a say in the future of their communities.
We established Cross Keys Care in 2013 to deliver outstanding care in the community designed to help people live independently at home for longer. Our LifeLine service is there to offer peace of mind to anyone who needs it and for those who need a little more support we have two extra care facilities in Peterborough as well as 27 retirement living schemes and six short-stay accommodation schemes for people facing homelessness.
Our Strategic Objectives
Objective 1: Our business
Whether it's the homes we provide, the services we offer, or the people we work with, we demand the best and never compromise.
Objective 2: Our growth
We will build at least 2,500 new homes and grow our business sustainably through joint ventures, new products and services.
Objective 3: Our residents
We will improve our residents' quality of life by listening to them, giving them a voice within CKH and supporting them to help themselves, enabling us to support the most vulnerable.
Objective 4: Our homes
We will transform how we manage our homes and neighbourhoods: making best possible use of this scarce resource and support people to make a house a home.
Objective 5: Our people
We will deliver high standards of service to all residents by being an employer of choice; promoting diversity, equality and social inclusion.
