Youth Employment Conference 2026

This exciting and interactive employment expo brings together employers, training providers and recruitment agencies from a wide range of industries, giving you the opportunity to explore career pathways, ask questions and discover opportunities you may never have considered.

Throughout the day, you'll have the opportunity to:

  • Meet employers from a variety of sectors and learn about current vacancies, apprenticeships and future career opportunities.
  • Speak directly with recruitment agencies and discover how they can support you in finding employment.
  • Explore training providers offering courses, qualifications and skills development to help you achieve your career goals.
  • Receive practical careers advice and guidance to help you make informed decisions about your future.

RISE Employability Youth Course

Our two week RISE course will support you to grow the skills and confidence you need to get into work. Specifically aimed at 18-26 year olds, the course will prepare you for today's modern workplace through practical learning, real-world experiences and personalised support.

Calm and Craft Kids

Throughout the summer holidays, we will be running Calm and Craft Kids - a  peaceful, creative space for kids and their carers, offering fun crafts for all abilities, all free. There will be lots of crafty activities to keep little ones busy and to give the adults inspiration for things to do at home.

 Sessions will run on Wednesday 22 and 29 July and 19 and 26 August between 9.30am and 10.30am at our South Bretton Family and Community Centre. You must book a space, using the form below, and children MUST be accompanied by an adult at all times.
