We run courses in partnership with a range of local organisations to help you to gain new skills and get a qualification.
As well as our the courses listed on this page, we also can help with finding work and support you to learn computer skills.

All of our support is free of charge and you do not need to be a CKH resident to take part.
Free support with English and Maths
Having a good standard or maths and English can help you in many ways. It will improve your chances of succeeding at work or in training, as well as giving your confidence a boost. We are offering free access to the BKSB portal so that you can learn, improve and gain a nationally recognised qualification in Functional Skills English and Maths.
Sessions run every Wednesday, 10am to 12pm at our Westwood Hub

Level 1 and Level 2 Free Food Hygiene Courses
The course offers various training modules, including an introduction to food safety, microbiological hazards, food poisoning and its control, contamination hazards and controls, safe handling and storage of food, personal hygiene, food pests and pest control, cleaning, and disinfection.
Sessions run every Wednesday from 10am to 12pm at Westwood Community Hub

Get into Gardening
Learn the basics of gardening in a two-day course. This course will help you improve your gardening skills and knowledge in horticulture. Upon completion, you will receive a certificate, which is great for job seekers.
