Loxley residents receive Christmas cheer
Residents at our retirement living community received a little extra Christmas spirit this week thanks to a gift tree from our electrical contractors, McIntyre Compliance Services.
McIntyre invited residents of the Loxley community to make a Christmas wish via the tags on the Christmas tree, and the staff of the contractors made those wishes come true in the form of gifts this week. Gifts were presented by the company at the community's coffee morning.
Our Chief Executive, Claire Higgins, said: “A huge thank you to the staff at McIntyre for helping to add a little extra Christmas sparkle for our residents. I know the residents were delighted with their gifts and the generosity of the team at McIntyre. It's really important to us to support our older residents in joining together as a community, especially at Christmas. Tackling social isolation and ensuring residents have the friendships they need is a cornerstone of our older people's services. The support of our contractors is very much appreciated in making this time of the year special.”
Aaliyah Lennon-Banks, Marketing and Account Executivefrom McIntyre Compliance Services, said: “It was a real pleasure to be able to share some Christmas joy with the residents of Loxley. Our whole team got behind selecting and wrapping gifts and it was so enjoyable to join their coffee morning to hand them out. The real meaning of Christmas!”
