National Upcycling Day
Did you know, Wednesday 24 June is National Upcycling Day?
Upcycling is a simple concept, all about taking old objects and furniture, and adding your own creativity and craft to make it something new, unique and beautiful.
National Upcycling Day is all about celebrating this amazing art of making something old into something new again!
However, with that art also comes the focus on sustainable use of household goods, recycling items instead of being wasteful, and the many different ways we can reuse things that we might think are completely useless at first glance.
So, if you would like to know more about upcycling and have a go yourself, come and join us at our special events:
Upcycling Day at Calm and Craft
Come and join us for a calm, creative session of crafting. We'll be reusing materials creatively to promote wellbeing and sustainability.
