New equipment for Stanley Park

We are delighted that our funding has brought a new basketball court and all-weather surfacing to Stanley Park in Peterborough, alongside some additional outdoor gym equipment.

We have been working with Peterborough City Council’s (PCC) Open Space Management Team to help enhance the local park, which has also benefited in recent years from the planting of 28 trees and the installation of bird, bat and bee boxes, as a result of their support.

CKH Chief Executive, Claire Higgins, said: “We are committed to ensuring we do all that we can to support Peterborough’s local facilities and are delighted to have been able to fund these improvement works at Stanley Park.”

Claire added: “We hope that the local community will enjoy making use of the new basketball court and gym facilities, especially those residents who have moved into our Indigo development, which is situated just a few minutes away from this park.”

Councillor Angus Ellis, Peterborough City Council's Cabinet Member for Environment and Transport, added: “Together with Cross Keys Homes we are committed to enhancing Peterborough’s local parks and are grateful for their support, which has enabled us to install this new equipment at Stanley Park for everyone to enjoy.”

CKH has committed over £200,000 to help with the installation of new play equipment and environmental enhancements at Stanley Park.
