Resident engagement

We're committed to resident engagement and working collaboratively with residents to improve and develop services. We have a range of resident panels. These are used in a variety of ways, for example to gain feedback on our services, policies, and future direction. They also provide an opportunity to raise issues which residents feel we should be addressing.

How we are performing

We publish an annual residents report containing our key performance data. Read our latest report.

Our residents performance dashboard lets you see how well we are performing against the targets we set ourselves and, in particular, where we need to improve.

Monitoring resident satisfaction

Every year we ask a random group of residents to take part in a survey to tell us how well they think we are doing. The questions are set by the government and we report to them the results. These are called out Tennant Satisfaction Measures. You can see how residents thought we were doing in the latest survey.

Regulatory Scoring

We have been awarded the following gradings by the Housing Regulator:

  • G1 (Governance)
  • V1 (Financial Viability)
  • C1 (Meeting Consumer Standards)

Find out more about these gradings.

Responding to complaints

Every year, we complete a Complaint Handling Code self-assessment in line with best practice guidance from the Housing Ombudsman. This is approved by our Board alongside an  Annual Complaints Performance and Service Improvement Report and a Complaints Statement from CKH Board. The Housing Ombudsman has produced a Landlord Report on our performance in 2024-25.
