Welcome to the new CKH Skills Hub
What is the CKH Skills Hub
The CKH Skills Hub is a brand new community venue conveniently located on Shakespeare Avenue, between Dogsthorpe and New England.
The Hub is designed by CKH to enable us to roll out our support services to even more people in our communities. In addition, we are able to share the space with local partners to maximise the support available to people.
The Hub is free to use by community groups and not for profit organisations to bring your support, activities and events right to the heart of the community.
Facilities at the CKH Skills Club
The Hub is fully equipped with wi-fi, kitchen space, toilets and fully accessible throughout. It is a great location for small training courses, one to one or group sessions or workshops. There are also five internet enabled computers available for participants to use.
The four rooms range in capacity from a ten person training space, with projector and screen, to comfortable spaces for two to three people.
Who can use the CKH Skills Hub?
We welcome community and not for profit groups to run their sessions from the Hub.
We are especially looking for groups that support CKH’s community investment aims of:
- Improving the health and wellbeing of local residents
- Supporting digital inclusion in our communities
- Supporting people into work and training
- Inspiring the next generation
- Promoting volunteering opportunities
