New homes provided in Stamford
We have built 127 new affordable homes in Stamford thanks to grant funding of over £1.4 million from Homes England.
The development known as Stamford Meadows, located off Uffington Road has provided 60 affordable rented homes and 67 shared ownership properties consisting of a mixture of two, three and four bedroom homes, and is a key part of CKH's expansion plans.
To celebrate the completion of this site, residents Anna and Jack Scarr along with their daughter Isla and next-door neighbours Rachel and Greg Knight and their three children Elise, Ryan and Samara had a bouquet of flowers presented to them and advent calendars given to all the children by our Sales Executive, Anj Dawson.
Jack said: “We want to say a massive thank you to CKH for giving us this amazing opportunity with our beautiful new home. We absolutely love it and can't wait to enjoy our first Christmas here together!”
Greg added: “Without the shared ownership scheme we simply wouldn't have been able to get onto the property ladder. Thanks to CKH we now have our beautiful forever home.”
Both families have each recently moved into a 4-bedroom shared ownership home enabling them to part buy and part rent their homes.
Our Chief Executive, Claire Higgins, said: “We are committed to building as many new affordable homes as we possibly can to help provide the homes that people so desperately need.
“We are delighted to have built these new homes in Stamford and hope everyone who has moved into the 127 new homes on site are extremely happy living there.”
Since the start of 2025, we have delivered 437 new affordable homes and have already identified over 800 new homes to be delivered by 2030.
