Tackling Worklessness in Peterborough (TWIP)
Welcome to the web pages for Tackling Worklessness in Peterborough (TWIP) - hosted by lead organisation, Cross Keys Homes (CKH).
At TWIP we are passionate about getting the people of Peterborough into work - or for those already in work, we want to help with up-skilling to improve career prospects.
We are also about providing solutions for Peterborough's employers - ensuring jobseekers have the skills employers are looking for, and providing them with the support to attract the best candidates for their vacancies.
Our flagship Recruit events are the perfect way to bring employers and jobseekers together under one roof. Our next event is an evening recruitment event - the Recruit Job Show - to be held on 10 March at City College Peterborough between 5pm and 8pm. Please drop us a line to get involved.
TWIP is a group of local employment support organisations, with local knowledge of the Peterborough area and its specific needs, working in partnership to identify the causes of unemployment in the city, devising the solutions to tackle them, and to get the right people into the right jobs and training. Because the very best organisations are working together, TWIP is able to maximise available funding opportunities and provide the training and support opportunities that really work for employers and employees.
If you believe working in partnership with TWIP could help you to do more to tackle worklessness, or if you are a jobseeker looking for support to get into work, get in touch with us today, by completing our enquiry form.
