Community Marking Remembrance Day - join us for an informal gathering to mark 11am together as a community.
Armistice Day is observed annually on the 11th November to commemorate the signing of the Armistice on 11/11/1918 at 11am, which ended the First World War.
A two-minute silence is observed at 11am on this date to honour the soldiers and civilians who gave their lives in service.
“At the eleventh hour on the eleventh day of the eleventh month - we will remember them”.
